Rescue Runs 2nd Alarm Townhouse Fire

On the above date, around 0430 hrs Rescue 23 was dispatched on the second alarm for a townhouse fire in Christiana's fire district. Units arrived on the scene and found one townhouse well involved with fire, and extension to one townhouse on either side.  Rescue 23 quickly responded with a crew of 4 under the command of Fire Chie Dierolf.  Rescue 23 arrived and the crew was directed to the top floor of the "D1" exposure to assist in fire extinguishment.  Crews found fire in two rooms and above the ceiling and extinguished the same.  The Rescue operated for just under 2 hours before being released by command.
