Squad 23 Runs First Due Auto Fire

??At 0945 hours on Friday, August 24, Station 23 was alerted to West Basin Road at Interstate 95 northbound for an auto fire. The Squad responded with four members in seconds, and arrived to find a pick up truck hauling another vehicle, well off, on Interstate 95 northbound, just north of Route 141. The fire was placed under control in a matter of minutes, and after returning to quarters, the company was re-alerted to the same location for a large fuel spill. Rescue 23 responded to this incident, and with the assistance of Hazmat 30 and DNREC the incident was handled in approximately 90 minutes.
